Give to the University of South Carolina Prevention
Research Center
The University of South Carolina Prevention Research Center (USC PRC) was first funded in 1993 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as part of the Prevention Research Centers Program. We have been in continuous operation since that time. Our mission is to conduct research that benefits the public’s health and to translate research into practice. We promote physical activity through community intervention, training, dissemination, and applied research. Our current funding, however, does not allow us to do all the work we would like to do to improve the health of South Carolina citizens.
By making a donation you can help to enhance the work that our center does. Examples of ways that donations are used include to train public health practitioners and researchers, train community organizations, and conduct applied research that promotes physical activity and healthy eating right here in South Carolina.
Whether you want to make a personal donation or a corporate gift, your support is vital to the USC PRC’s work. Your donation can also be given in honor of, or in memory of, a friend, colleague, or family member.
Thank you for your support and interest in donating to our work.
