The FAN program was developed in partnership with the 7th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church (i.e., South Carolina) with grant funding from the National Institutes of Health. With funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, FAN program materials were revised and used in a Dissemination and Implementation Study in partnership with the Fairfield Community Coordinating Council and the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.
