FAITH, ACTIVITY, AND NUTRITION (FAN) PROGRAM MATERIALS
The FAN program was developed in partnership with the 7th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church (i.e., South Carolina) with grant funding from the National Institutes of Health. With later funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), FAN program materials were revised and used in a Dissemination and Implementation Study in partnership with the Fairfield Community Coordinating Council and the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Most recently, with CDC funding, we have converted training for the program to an online format and offered this training to churches across the U.S.
