Impact of Rail-Trail Conversion FUNDING SOURCE: Mary Black Foundation The USC PRC has partnered with the Palmetto Conservation Foundation to evaluate the impact that a 2-mile rail-trail segment will have on commercial and residential property values in nearby neighborhoods, income of retail businesses located along the trail, use and zoning of adjacent property, and traffic patterns on adjoining roads. Characteristics of trail users and patterns of trail use also will also be determined. |
