SUMTER COUNTY ON THE MOVE! WALKING GROUP MATERIALS

The Sumter County on the Move! walking materials were developed by the USC Prevention Research Center and Sumter County Active Lifestyles for use with the Core Research Project: Creating Walking Programs in Rural Communities (Forthofer, 2009-2014). SCOTM!  was a community-based, group walking study that used strategies for mobilizing, supporting, and reinforcing existing social networks.
