2016 Health Symposium

LiveWell @ Worship: How Faith-Based Initiatives Contribute to Community Health in Greenville, SC

On September 6, 2016, the University of South Carolina hosted a symposium entitled “LiveWell @ Worship: How Faith-Based Initiatives Contribute to Community Health in Greenville, SC.” Sixty-eight people attended the symposium and represented diverse sectors including academia, public health, faith-based settings, and other health-related settings. Speakers included Rev. Sean Dogan and Ms. Peggy Baxter from Long Branch Baptist Church (Greenville, SC) and Ms. Sally Wills, Executive Director of LiveWell Greenville.
