Comments:
This material promotes physical activity as a way for children to build and maintain healthy bodies, control weight, handle stress, increase self-esteem, and enhance learning capacity. Its intent is to encourage principals to work with parents and teachers to make their schools more physically active. Written on the 11th grade level, this brochure includes colorful pictures and lists creative activities. Overall this material does a good job of promoting physical activity to principals in creative ways, but it may need to be more straightforward to get the attention of a busy principal.
